Cucina has been a fixture of Woodstock’s dining scene since 2006, serving contemporary Italian cuisine from a beautifully restored farmhouse on Mill Hill Road. The restaurant is part of the culinary group led by Chef Gianni Scappin and partners Luciano Valdivia and Nick Brower—the team behind Market Street in Rhinebeck, Barbaro in Millbrook, and Fern in Lakeville, CT. Together they have shaped some of the region’s most beloved Italian restaurants, each grounded in tradition while reflecting the character of its town.

At Cucina, the menu celebrates the agricultural richness of the Hudson Valley through seasonal ingredients and thoughtful Italian cooking. Wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas, and vibrant vegetable dishes evolve with the seasons, bringing classic Italian flavors together with local produce and regional inspiration. The result is a menu that feels both rooted and fresh, inviting guests to return again and again as it changes throughout the year.
