Located in the heart of Uptown Kingston, Kingston Bread + Bar is a vibrant bakery and café renowned for its handcrafted, naturally leavened breads and inventive sandwiches. Founded in 2017 as Kingston Bread Lab, this community favorite grew from modest beginnings—a home baking project with a dedicated following—into a bustling all-day venue. Initially popping up at Rough Draft Bar & Books, the successes of their pop-ups and popular bagel brunches led to the establishment of a more permanent location on North Front Street in 2020. Today, they operate from a revamped space on Broadway, which retains the location's historical essence with features like restored tin ceilings and exposed brick, while catering to a steady flow of locals with fresh breakfast and lunch options, as well as coffee and crafted beverages.

Each bread is made with sourdough starter, fermented for a minimum of 24 hours, and hand-shaped before being baked.
