Rivertown Lodge is a 27-room independently owned hotel in the heart of Hudson, transformed from a 40-year-old motel that was once a historic movie theater. It's founders, the same team behind Camptown, collaborated with New York design studio Workstead and a team of local craftsmen to create a warm, design-forward space featuring custom brass lighting, handcrafted wood furnishings, and carefully curated artwork. The result is a hotel that seamlessly blends history, craftsmanship, and modern comfort, offering guests a unique and inviting stay.
The open-plan lobby, with its cozy wood-burning stoves, serves as a hub for working, lounging, and socializing, while screened-in porches and a backyard with picnic tables and ping pong encourage relaxation.
