Thai Baan brings the vibrant flavors of Thailand to the heart of the Hudson Valley. Created by husband-and-wife duo Jason Jeffords and Chef Arunee “Runie” Pakaraphag, the restaurant is rooted in Runie’s upbringing on a rice farm in northeastern Thailand and her two decades of culinary experience abroad. The Thai Baan menu balances beloved staples like pad Thai, green curry, and veggie spring rolls with bolder dishes such as Massaman short rib curry and fiery pork stir-fry. With every plate, Thai Baan delivers food that is both authentic and deeply personal, crafted to evoke the warmth of home cooking while embracing the seasonal bounty of the Hudson Valley.
Located inside Tenmile Distillery in Wassaic, Thai Baan serves dinner Thursday through Sunday, with lunch and brunch on weekends. Together, the distillery and restaurant create a destination unlike any other in Dutchess County, where exceptional spirits and authentic Thai food come together under one roof.
