With its new location in Hudson, NY, following its original presence in Brooklyn, NY, The Meat Hook is a community-focused butcher shop and market dedicated to sourcing the highest-quality grass-fed, pasture-raised meats directly from small family farms in New York and Pennsylvania. Founded in 2009, The Meat Hook is rooted in a whole-animal approach and a belief that great meat starts with great relationships—both with their farm partners and the customers they serve. Every cut of beef, pork, lamb, and poultry is hormone- and antibiotic-free, humanely raised, and processed locally for exceptional freshness and flavor. Beyond the butcher counter, The Meat Hook offers a curated selection of organic produce, pantry staples, cheese from Saxelby Cheesemongers, and thoughtfully prepared foods—all designed to make high-quality ingredients more accessible to the local community.
