Upper Depot Brewing
Craft beer and community in a historic Hudson train station.
About Upper Depot Brewing
Located in a beautifully restored 1871 train station in Hudson, NY, Upper Depot Brewing Co. blends rich history with expertly crafted beer. Founded by lifelong friends and Columbia County locals Monty Bopp and Aaron Maas, the brewery features a rotating selection of 12 seasonal beers brewed in-house, including their flagship Upper Depot IPA, Kölsch, and No. 999 Steam Ale. With an inviting modern-industrial design, high ceilings, and a wraparound deck reminiscent of a train platform, the space offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for enjoying great beer and good company.
Committed to collaboration and community, Upper Depot partners with local businesses, including the on-site Whale Belly food truck, which serves freshly smoked sandwiches and bar-friendly bites. The brewery regularly hosts events and plans to team up with neighboring businesses for seasonal block parties and celebrations. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Upper Depot Brewing Co. is a must-visit destination for craft beer lovers looking to experience Hudson's history and hospitality in a glass.
