About Willa

In the village of Millerton, New York, Willa is a 45-seat restaurant and 22-seat bar serving deeply seasonal, farm-driven cuisine with an approachable, neighborhood feel. Led by chef Daniel Meissner—whose culinary roots in Dutchess County run deep—the kitchen sources the majority of its ingredients from local farms, building close relationships with producers like Hudson Valley Fisheries, Chaseholm Farm, and Tivoli Mushroom Co. The menu reflects this ethos: it shifts constantly with the seasons, balancing bright, clean flavors with elegant simplicity and a respect for the ingredients’ origins.

Opened by Alanna Broesler and Jim Buhs, Willa is outfitted with emerald green walls, wood accents, and Broesler’s floral arrangements, offering both comfort and sophistication. Whether you’re sitting down for grilled squid with miso and lemon, a Kinderhook smashburger, or a rotating selection of peak-season vegetables, Willa feels like a true reflection of the Hudson Valley—a place where flavor, community, and sustainability come together beautifully.
