Tucked between the Shawangunk Mountains and the Catskills, just outside the historic hamlet of Stone Ridge, NY, Friends and Neighbors is a thoughtfully designed 20-room guesthouse and year-round event venue by the team behind Audrey’s Farmhouse. Seamlessly blending modern sensibilities with timeless, stylish touches, the property offers a serene escape into nature while providing all the comforts and charm of a luxury boutique stay. Surrounded by woods and curated with calming interiors, each of the ten guest rooms features a king bed, private patio, oversized accordion doors, and amenities like Aesop toiletries, coffee stations, and pet-friendly accommodations.
At the heart of the property is a 4,500-square-foot temperature-controlled Events building, designed to host up to 200 guests in comfort and elegance. The space is bright and welcoming, with vaulted ceilings, crisp white walls, and neutral checkered floors. A wall of glass accordion doors opens onto the lawn, creating a fluid indoor-outdoor experience perfect for weddings, celebrations, or retreats. The adjacent Bar Room offers a contrasting, cozy ambiance with reclaimed wood beams, dark oak paneling, and playful lighting—ideal for cocktail hours or as an extension for larger gatherings.
Supporting spaces like the Guest Lobby, Library Lounge, and five designer water closets add polish and hospitality to every visit, while the landscaped outdoor areas can accommodate ceremonies, intimate dinners, or cocktail receptions.
